A “Wave” is someone who feels anxious in relationships.

Are you in a relationship and feeling any of these things? Or, do you notice a pattern of feeling this way in your romantic relationships?

  • Anxious

  • Out of control (but with a desire to control things)

  • Like you are the only one who cares about the relationship and making things happen in it

  • Sexually or physically un-desirable and unwanted

  • A sense that you need to prioritize nurturing your partner over yourself

  • Sad and endlessly lonely

  • Unappreciated and unseen

  • Easily abandoned, or like your partner never wants to spend time together

  • Like you are often doing things to “save” the relationship

  • Like you don’t know how to speak up for your needs and get them met

Did you know that over 60% of women are waves? You’re not alone.

The tools and practices we learned here work. I now see myself as an individual rather than an extension of my partner

I used to think it was a partner’s responsibility to soothe the aches and to make me feel accepted. I see clearly now that it starts with me
